  About Me

My name is Lilian. I was raised in the Yukon and moved down to Vancouver Island (specifically Nanaimo) when I was 16 years old to live with my aunt and uncle in order to finish my high school diploma with a stronger education. I was raised in a household with four other siblings, as well as cats and dogs. My parents put my younger sister and I into 4-H horse club when we were very young so we also grew up around farm animals and learned the responsibility of taking care of animals.

I attended Camosun College from the fall of 2018 to the spring of 2019 studying criminal justice. I am now currently working as an office assistant and live on my own in the Westshore area. I enjoy painting, kayaking and hiking in my spare time, as well as keeping my landlords daughters (ages 11 and 13) busy by doing arts and crafts with them or doing outdoor activities.

Between the age of 12-14, I babysat a wide age group of children ranging from 3 months old to 7 years old. As well, at the age of 14, I was one of three program leaders who ran an after school care program for elementary school children (aged 5-12), each leader caring for up to 5 children at a time, where I planned daily activities and snacks. I had consistently worked part time throughout my school career which taught me independence, leadership and responsibility at a very young age.
