I was raised in the Yukon and moved down to Vancouver Island when I was 16 years old. I was raised in a household with four other siblings, as well as cats and dogs. I became a 4-H horse club member at 10 years old where I learned the responsibility of taking care of animals of all types. I enjoy painting, music, crafting, and a variety of physical activities in my spare time. My Fiancé and I are relocating from Victoria BC to Halifax NS in June 2023 where we will be planting our roots and buying our first home.

I'm experienced with housekeeping, meal preparation, pet care, and first aid and CPR training. I'm looking for a family who needs a dependable and experienced candidate to take care of their children and home. I’ve been a nanny to two children currently aged 4 and 7 on a part time basis for 3 years. Our activities have ranged from after school and evening care to days at the park, backyard pool time, birthday parties and some overnight sleepovers. I’ve also done general housekeeping and some larger cleans for this family and would be more than happy to help out with those duties on a regular basis. Over the last 11 years, I’ve cared for a wide range of age groups, from 3 months old to 7 years old. At the age of 14, I was one of three program leaders who ran an after school care program for elementary school children (aged 5-12), each leader caring for up to 5 children at a time, where I planned daily activities and snacks. I have my Occupational First Aid and CPR Certification. I Volunteered at Nanaimo Regional General hospital from September 2017 to June 2018 where I socialized with hospital patients and staff of all ages, ensured patient comfort by bringing them water, blankets, snacks and changing their garbages, and assisted in bringing wheelchairs to other areas where they may be needed.
