I am a young enthusiastic certified Personal Support Worker with 6+ years experience; the past 2 years working with high needs children within the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board. I have acquired excellent knowledge and skills to perform the daily tasks needed for this position in a safe, efficient and effective manner. I have gained hands on skills as well as strong interpersonal skills that has given me the drive and passion to work with a wide range of disabilities/ chronic illnesses etc. I have been praised on several occasions on my ability to communicate therapeutically, be flexible where needed and to relate to and care for my students/ clients in a professional manner.

I am a PSW/ EA for KPRDSB. I have worked for several different families assisting with nanny/babysitting duties. I would get the 2 children off the bus after school, sometimes the third youngest child dropped off as well and I would look after them as well as prepping supper for the family and completing light house duties (laundry, dishes, vacuum, organizing, kids lunches etc. ) I have assisted families with children with autism, and learned their specified needs.
