My name is Ruby, I am a 23year old stay at home mom to a 2.5 year old boy. I am looking for a part time position, ideally after school or daycare pick up. I have been babysitting on and off for about 11 years now, and have recently decided to do online night school to get my ECE to eventually work with children full time. I am open to doing some house chores when needed and doing the essentials - diaper changes, naps, meal prep, snacks, walk, activities and homework when help if needed. I am totally okay with any pets. If there are other tasks you would like me to take on, we can discuss it, i am reasonable and enjoy being a help. It would be extremely helpful if I could bring my son to accompany me, he is quite independent for a 2 year old and loves to meet new people. He naps once during the day for just over an hour but can sleep alone, he is fine with my paying attention to other children (he doesn’t get jealous) I would like to add that I do not drive but live 15 minutes walking distance from Keele Station, 5 minutes on the bus. I have been babysitting for 11 and a half years, I got my babysitting certificate in 2011. I’ve watched children from newborn to 13 years of age. I drop and pick up children from school. I will provide a safe and clean environment for the children where they can feel free to be themselves. I prepare meals and healthy snacks for when children get peckish. I will read to children and help them with homework when needed. I change diapers and bath young kids, get them ready for bed. I will always ensure the safety of the children and families. I will plan and supervise activities. I will ensure the household is always clean.

I have my first aid/Cpr level C certification, as well as my babysitter’s certificate. I am currently attending George brown to get my Early Childhood Education.
