I am a relational, trustworthy, and responsible young female in my mid 20's. I am outgoing, very organized, and have great communication skills. I have a passion to work with children and youth in a relational setting and have a big heart to share with others. I have experience working with young children and youth in various settings, specifically through volunteering, tutoring, babysitting, family relations, and kid's camps. As well, I am en route to becoming an elementary school teacher as I just graduated from the University of Fraser Valley with a degree in Sociology & Anthropology. I am looking for a position available from January 24th - September 1st, 2022 (TBD) as I am planning on returning back to school in the fall (depending on my acceptance to a Bachelor of Education program). However, with the right family, my availability may be flexible.

I have experience with various ages of children, ranging from 6m-16yr. My past experiences involve classroom volunteering, leading afterschool programs, working at an outdoor and literacy summer camp, being a school tutor, being an aunty, babysitting, etc. I also have had experiences working with ESL students and children with cognitive, behavioural, or social/emotional needs; all of which took place in a classroom setting.

Recent graduate from UFV with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology/Anthropology. My future plans include furthering my education and obtaining my Bachelor of Education degree with the hopes of becoming a certified teacher.
