Creative and energetic Registered Early Childhood Educator Supervisor devoted to offering diverse activity plans and experiential learning opportunities to enhance individual development. Motivated to help children develop social, academic and creative abilities to foster well-being and progress. Well-versed in developmental milestones and activities to promote curiosity and engagement. Friendly, supportive and motivated with strong desire to promote children's potential.
In my most recent position as a Registered Early Childhood Educator Supervisor, I promoted a curriculum that is designed to promote children's physical, mental, and social development. As an educator, I ensure that the children are in a positive learning environment so that children can feel safe and motivated throughout the day. The accomplishment I am most proud of as an educator is when I created a connection with a child and their family. After creating that connection, I was better able to modify and create activities based on their cues and interests. I strive to be part of the developmental process of children but also believe in connecting with their families and having open communication. From a very early age, I knew I wanted to pursue a career working with children. Now that I am older and have expanded the knowledge as an educator, I realized that the job of an Educator is one of the most underappreciated positions that there is. I have a passion for working with children in multiple ways, such as using a play-based learning method or even simply having a conversation with them to better understand who they are and how they prefer to learn. For example, if a child is interested in dinosaurs, I would use that to help teach math or literacy, using dinosaurs to help them count, sort out, or even learn the different types. It would be an amazing opportunity to use my experiences as an educator to continue teaching children academically and going through the learning process with them, it is such an inspirational feeling when you educate children and they understand what you are showing them, going through the developmental milestones with children and their families is truly an amazing and nostalgic feeling.
