Hi there, my name is Talia. I just graduated high school at Donald A Wilson Secondary School in June and I am taking a gap year but planning to attend university in the fall. I live in Whitby and I am currently looking for a babysitting job near me. I have always enjoyed babysitting and absolutely love children and pets. Last summer I babysat for a family with 3 kids aged 5, 8 and 10. And the previous summer I babysat a two-year-old boy while his parents worked from home. I have also worked with kids as a coach for Whitby Gymnastics and Circus Centre for about four years but due to lockdown, it's been closed most of the year. Additionally, before that, I volunteered for the town of Whitby at their summer camps. I am CPR and First Aid certified and have taken the babysitting course. I have many different settings and experiences working with children. Last year I babysat for one family as a summer job but I am looking for a new opportunity for this summer. I have also volunteered at many Whitby camps since I took the Counsellor in Training program. I volunteered for over 100+ hours at the camps and worked with kids of all ages. The tasks included supervising, playing games, setting and cleaning up etc. I also currently work at Whitby Gymnastics and Circus Centre but our facility is closed due to Covid. I have worked there for 4 years and while coaching I lead the entire class (warm up, drills/circuits, assist athletes with skills, observe athletes and create report cards, etc).
