I have lived in this area all of my life. I have two grown children that I am close to and absolutely adore. I love to read, spend time with family and spend time with God. I like to sing and quite frequently listen to music. When life presents difficulties, I always try to look for solutions and try to stay positive. Organization, efficiency and cleanliness are important to me but these are accomplished with a good dose of patience, humour and a mindset to get the tasks done. Good customer service was always a priority when I worked in retail. Each one of us has our own story so I try not to judge. I was the main caregiver for my parents in their final years. I would cut their grass, get their groceries, fix meals, do laundry, take them for drives or just take time to sit and enJoy their company. I have more compassion and understanding now that I’ve been in a hospital and nursing home scenario where they spent their last days. I did have a nanny job for a short while when a friend of mine was in need for their two little boys. I have a tendency to wear my heart on my sleeve but can also be firm and steadfast when needed. I love to be creative and in the past I have sewn many things, made paper crafts, painted artwork, created gardens and cut wood projects. I have a good work ethic, am dependable and responsible and will try to succeed with anything if given the chance and we’re compatible with one another. I arrive a few minutes before and always greet people with a smile. I take the initiative and get things done. If a diaper needs changing or a baby needs to eat, I’m on it. I spend time playing with them or give cuddles when needed. I expect kids to listen and obey a suggestion or command depending on what is required. Good communication and expectations are conveyed so that we understand each other. I am caring, loving and a good “mom” figure and my two grown girls will tell you so.
