Elementary Teacher
Teacher in the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board. While creating a warm and welcoming environment for the students in the class, I follow curriculum and less plans left by the staff and use multiple forms of classroom management based on the class needs and scenario. I encourage participation and facilitate learning, while delivering instructions for assignments and assisting in the needs of the class. I take time to enlighten myself on any classroom safety plans, IEPs, special needs and concerns in order to ensure a safe classroom. I build relationships with the students in a short period of time, earning their respect and trust whilst being in their classroom. I ensure that I always end the day with a clean classroom, organized assignments and a note for the absent teacher.

To whom it may concern,
It is my pleasure to provide a letter of reference for Reilly Unroe.
Reilly has been working as a teacher’s aid in a Grade 1/2 classroom at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Secondary School since May 13, 2019. During this time, Reilly has worked with guided reading groups, assisted with bulletin board displays and read literature to the students. She has had experience working one-on-one with students in all subject areas; and has had some exposure to a “team teaching” environment. Reilly has also experimented with marking student work, and has shared her ideas and insights as to activities that could be explored, in supplementing unites within the classroom.
Reilly is punctual and dedicated in her practice. She is proactive and responsive; always quick to help with full intent and effort. Her teaching partner found her to be very personable and committed to making the school and beautiful place to learn and work. Her engaging nature fostered this love for the school and classroom in children as well. Reilly was always flexible and accommodating. She was also very quick and pleased to help with any request. These qualities no doubt played a large factor in the quality of the work she produced, and the rapport she had within the building.
Reilly is an outstanding volunteer within the St. Isaac Jogues C. S. community. I would recommend her gladly.
Sincerely,
Valerie Cappuccitti

To whom it may concern,
It is my pleasure to recommend Reilly Unroe for admission to Cardiff Metropolitan University. Reilly served as a volunteer in my classroom from May to June of this year. During this time I watched Reilly grow in her relationships with the students as well as her confidence in the classroom.
With her friendly and calm nature, she seamlessly integrated herself in the classroom and with the students. By the end of the first week, Reilly knew all the children’s names. She quickly became aware of the emotional and intellectual needs of all the students. She works diligently with all the students who require more assistance with their work or are having difficulties following routines. She is very patient and loving with these children but can be firm when necessary.
During the time she was in the classroom it was quite evident that Reilly is a hard worker who is willing to take new challenges every day. Reilly worked with guided reading groups, worked one on one with the students, had exposure to team teaching, assisted with bulletin boards display, read different genres of books to the children and shared ideas and insights to activities that could be explored. She never hesitated to ask for clarification if she did not understand something.
Both my students and myself highly recommend that you accept Reilly as a student into the teaching program. The children have asked Reilly if she could be their grade 3 teacher next year and this is the greatest recommendation a future teacher can receive. I have no doubt that Reilly will uphold the standards of your Education program and become a shining star of your community. I am confident that she will make an excellent addition to your university program.
Sincerely,
Barb Sadler
