Hey. My name is Sarah and I have recently graduated from the University of Guelph where I obtained a degree in biomedical science and neuroscience. I am currently tree planting in Northern Alberta and would love the opportunity to continue to work out west. I love the outdoors and being physically active. Some of my favourite hobbies include skiing, rock climbing and running. I also love to play the guitar and am currently trying to learn sign language.

Previously I have worked many different roles at YMCA camps for the past five summers. Most recently I was the director at Toronto Island where I was in charge of overseeing programing, staff management, challenging camper behaviours, parent communication, organization and administrative tasks. In addition to this, I have experience as an assistant director, integration counsellor and camp counsellor. All of these experiences have helped me to improve my interpersonal skills, behaviour management and delivery of high-quality programming. Additionally, I have experience teaching rock climbing and swimming to children and adults. This allowed me to continuously practice my program delivery and creativity to come up with new programs for multiple different ages and skill levels. I was also a volunteer organizational team lead at Frontier College, where I have been in charge of managing a team of volunteers and programming for an after school program in Guelph. I am certified in standard first aid and CPR-C. I am a hardworking and caring person who is a fast learner. I believe that I would make a great nanny because of m strong interpersonal skills, work ethic and experience working with children of all abilities.
