I have up to 15 hours a week of time available for childcare work. I enjoy working with children and families and have 25 years of experience in various capacities including: summer camp leader, coaching sports teams, teaching flute and horse riding lessons, tutoring and homework help, respite care for foster babies, babysitting, homeschooling, and spending time with my nieces and nephews. My greatest joy was raising my own two boys who have recently left the nest and are now in college. While raising my sons, our door was always open to many other children who needed a safe and loving environment, a mother or father figure, input from an aunt or uncle, or even just a good meal. I enjoy nature, an active lifestyle, reading, music, eating healthy, other cultures and languages, travel, learning, hospitality, education, art, people, and homemaking. I am a student in Queen's University online degree program and can be flexible with my schedule.
