All about me:
I am very family-oriented.
I enjoy spending time with family, especially my nephews (4 boys, 8years old & under).
I enjoy seeing them learn & grow, we have definitely created a bond.
As well, we have core family values and are quite close-knit. Supporting and uplifting each other when in need.
I entered post-secondary education wanting to obtain a BSc in physical geography and then going to teachers college. That path changed, I ended up with my BSc in physical geography and then on to working full time, within another field.
It seems the universe has drawn me back into this field. teaching/tutoring and childcare. I am glad that I am taking the leap back into this realm.
Seven years ago I applied to a part-time position tutoring with a reputable company (TutorBright) while working full-time. This has since fuelled my passion to work again with children, youth and teenagers. Helping them build and find their own passions, gain knowledge and build confidence/success. Since 2020 I stopped working with TutorBright and was able to find my own clients and build up my personal educational business.
I am vegan. I love cooking and discovering new recipes and food. I enjoy the outdoors, hiking, playing basketball, music, reading and gardening.
I am also interested in aromatherapy and it is healing effects.
I am constantly learning and trying to educate myself in order to grow as a human being, even though I have much life experience.
I am married, and have a lovely baby boy who just turned one! So he will have to be included as well into my work. He’s very sociable and starting to explore. We do have the cutest fur baby, a cute 1. 5 yr pls pup named Bheema, who we love very much.
Some of my experience is from babysitting, tutoring, as well as education classes that I have taken from post-secondary. I am always trying to improve myself and learn when I have downtime.
I have past experience in job positions that dealt with children, education and care. In the past I have worked with YMCA camps as a councillor. I have also worked with another learning interactive day camp that is school-based.
