Born and raised in Camrose, Alberta, people are my passion. I make it my mission to brighten the day of everybody I meet. Previously, I worked for several years with the local children’s choir and have also done some childcare for the town Women’s Shelter. While I’ve spent time with children of all ages, I have a special fondness for nurturing the little ones. I love seeing the children interact and feel so blessed by the flexibility this job allows me to bring my son with me when I work. Honesty, positivity, kindness, patience, and hard work are the principles I live my life by. Currently, I look after our home and six-month-old son and spend weekends selling my handmade wares at the local Farmers' Market. When I’m not working, I enjoy singing, gardening, spending time with my animal companions, family and friends, and working in various art mediums, such as oil painting.

In the choir setting, I would help children learn and hold their vocal parts, enjoy musical theory in fun ways, keep focused, and also learn to play some musical-themed games. It was also my job to provide a good role model for singing posture and how to behave during performances, as well as helping manage the children behind-the-scenes when waiting to go on stage. When the director was not present, it was my job to supervise, instruct, and entertain the children. At the women's shelter, volunteers were responsible for looking after young children (generally anywhere from 6 months to 8 years old) and keeping them entertained when their mothers had work to do elsewhere.
