I spent the last 3 years volunteering in Asia and Hawaii. During this time, I did a variety of things including teaching at an elementary school, organizing events, coordinating hospitality and travel for special guests and large groups. I was also a personal assistant. Prior to this I worked as an admin. assistant for 2 years and also taught English in Asia. Based on the above, you can already conclude that I love to travel, I’m well organized, and I also love working with kids. I think working with kids is one of the most rewarding things. It’s a privilege getting to know children and the things they are passionate about, and then champion those things in them. In whatever stage of life they’re in, I want to encourage them and remind them that they are loved and valued. That’s really my heart behind working with kids. Other hobbies of mine are cooking, baking, being creative (painting, crafts, graphic design), playing games and being outdoors (going for hikes or swimming). I’m also very observant and take initiative with things. I naturally desire to help out with whatever I can, whether around the house, organizing something or running errands.

I taught science and math to elementary school students and have taught English as a second language to high school level students. I also grew up babysitting for neighbours and friends with occasionally nanny jobs.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration specializing in International Development. I am also trained in teaching English as a second language. I have received CPR and First Aid training in the past but they have expired.
