I was born in North Battleford, Saskatchewan but spent most of life living in Medicine Hat, Alberta. I have two siblings and two stepsiblings. At the end of August in 2019, my boyfriend and I packed up our stuff and moved to North Vancouver, this is the first time I have ever lived away from my parents. I started working in retail and going to school when we moved here up until recently. I enjoy reading in my spare time and catching up on my favourite tv shows. I have also recently tried to take up painting. My boyfriend and I love going to the movies and spending our time outside. I love travelling and have been lucky enough to see some amazing places such as New York, Jamaica, Mexico and Disney multiple times. I really excel at connecting with kids through play and won’t just sit back and watch them. I am very responsible and will follow the rules of your family. My biggest goal is to make your kid(s) feel comfortable and safe with me. I started babysitting when I was 12 years old, I realized very quickly how much I loved being around kids and have continued to babysit for 6 years and nanny for 5 years. One of my biggest goals in life is to be a mom and being a nanny/babysitter has helped me gain so much knowledge and experience that I can use in the future. I have volunteered in a daycare and summer camps at the Women’s Shelter in Medicine Hat. It was an amazing experience and an eye opener for me to be a part of these kid’s lives that were struggling and was a huge influence on what I want to do with my future. I have babysat children from 4 months to 12 years old, I have babysat for more than one child at a time as well. Moving to North Vancouver, I had to leave behind a lot of families I cared for on an everyday basis and it was really sad to leave them behind. I am hoping with this job I will be gain those strong relationships again through your family. I took a babysitting course when I was 12 and have taken first aid twice now. I have gained all of my experience from working with many families over the years and hope to gain even more. I want to be able to work with kids or potentially have a day home of my own in the further. Working with kids over the years has given me the passion I have to want to help and care for children. I want nothing more than to fit in with your family and help make your life easier. I am caring, passionate, easy-going and hardworking. I have no problem cleaning up the house after a mess is made or if you needed me to put a load of laundry in or vacuum up the living room. I want to be able to provide help to your family that will take some stress of your shoulders. This is the job that I love the most out of all the jobs I have gone through and will put my best into your family. I am capable to taking care of whatever needs your child has such as diaper changing, bottle feeding, bathing, providing meals, going for walks or even arts and crafts. I am really excited to start nannying again and hope that I am the right fit for your family.
