My name is Amy. I’m 22 years old. I’m looking to be part time so I can be a casual Educational Assistant. I am kind, honest, loyal, and intelligent. I have been living in Spruce Grove my whole life. I went to the catholic schools there. My favourite subjects were math and science. I graduated from Grant MacEwan as an Special Needs Educational Assistant. From doing this, I had a practicum to help 7 and 8 year olds in school. I was in a grade 2 classroom. I also graduated from Lethbridge College and obtained the Educational Assistant Diploma. Which led me to do 2 more practicums. I’m currently living with my parents. I also have a dog. My passion is skiing. I’ve been skiing for 12 years. I go skiing every weekend in the winter. I also learned how to snowboard three years ago. I’m also a Canadian Ski Patrol at Rabbit Hill. I’ve been doing this for 7 years. I have First Aid and CPR. I also like to sing, skateboard, watch tv and play video games. My favourite movie genres are musicals and horrors. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you like my profile.

I’ve been working at a daycare for the last year. I worked with all ages of kids from 1-12. This has given me lots of experience working with all ages of children. I have done 3 practicums with my colleges for being an Educational Assistant. My first practicum was in a grade 2 classroom. I mostly helped them with reading and writing. My second practicum was in a grade 5 classroom. I helped one student with math and language arts. My last practicum was in a grade 3 classroom. I helped one student with all of the subjects and his behaviour.

I have graduated high school on the honour roll in 2018. I have been doing First Aid and CPR training for 4 years. I graduated as a Special Needs Educational Assistant in 2020. I also obtained my Educational Assignment Diploma in 2022. I have also gotten an Health Care Aide certificate in 2017.
