Hi there, My name is Carly. I am a second year Queen's student studying Psychology and Gender Studies. I hope to become an elementary school teacher in the near future. I enjoy creative tasks, cooking, and outdoor time. I have extensive experience with children ages 2-6 through classroom coop and nannying, and have experience in the daycare setting with children ages 4-12. I am looking to work 15-25 hours per week, and because of this semester being online I am available at all times during the week. I look forward to hearing from you.

My most extensive work experience is with ages 2-6 which I obtained through a summer nanny job. At this position I cooked, cleaned, arranged outings, and found creative outlets for the two children I cared for. I aided with grocery shopped and attended doctors appointments with the mother when needed. I was placed in an all french junior kindergarten class for my high school coop. Here I was responsible for creating crafts and interactive activities for the class. I helped with group time when needed as well. In this position I developed my french and was able to learn plenty about this age group through teaching and through the teachers advice. This position is where I realized that this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I volunteered at a daycare which had children from grade 1-6 for several months. At this position I aided with homework and helped with playtime.
