Coming from a large family I have experience in working with babies, young children, teens and young adults. I was a foster parent for 2 years and welcomed a youth into my home making it our home. I was so privileged to be a part of her life and getting seeing her off to college in a different city. I currently work shift work on an ever changing schedule and would like to fill my time. I have lived in Carleton Place for 13 years now and love the area and community. I do have a Dalmatian dog who I take to the dog parks and walk in the woods with, we are both adventurers and like to keep busy.

When I first graduated school I worked for local group homes in the community, but those were only stepping stones to my plan. There I would be with youth aged children. I grew up having 2 brothers with special needs and my parents were foster parents for special needs children. My home growing up was alway busy and packed full of sidlings and friends. My 2 older brothers and their spouses each have 4 children. We were a very busy family raising these babies and working together as a large family. I love going home for the holidays and spending time with my loud big family.
