Hello I am Jennifer, I graduated high school this past year and have just finished working a summer job. I am looking for a stable employer to help me save money for going back to school. I am willing to work as many or as little hours a week as needed as well as holidays and nights. I have always loved working with children and their curious and developing minds. I am looking for a lovely family to help in Calgary or Okotoks. I am very involved when it comes to babysitting and always participate. I can cook meals and help with homework whenever necessary. I graduated with honours with distinction with a 97 average and can was a peer tutor a my school, I am therefore more than happy to help homeschool at any level and with any classes. I understand that right now, amidst a pandemic, letting strangers into your house is scary and I acknowledge that I also must take the responsibility to not bring Covid-19 into your household, but I promise I will be cautious for the safely of your family. Sincerely, Jennifer

My experience for child care consists of taking care of my three nieces and nephew since they were young, babysitting my little brother and was a mentor for middle school children. I have also taken to the odd job to babysit my little brothers classmates. I have my high school first aid certificate and experience with newborns. I have also been trained on proper car seat and booster seat installation and use. Since October of 2020 I have been working in childcare. From October to January I worked for a private dayhome in Red Deer where I took care of six children ranging from twelve months to seven years. I did lots of early learning and development activities with them to help work and anything from fine motor skills to basic arithmetic's. I cooked for the children at the dayhome, preparing nutritious meals and snacks. I also did all the cleaning at the dayhome, from simple laundry to sanitizing the entire dayhome from top to bottom for COVID safety. After I worked at the dayhome I became a private nanny for a household with twin one-year olds for three months. I did all the housework and meal prep for the family. We went out side and to the park anytime we had the chance. I created sensory boxes for the two girls and created fun games to help them with refining their fine motor skills. Additional Experiences/Qualifications: I have allergies to animals so I cannot work in a household with indoor pets. Hypoallergentic dog are usually okay.

I have no specific childcare education, just experience.
