Janvier 2024 I am writing to give the strongest possible recommendation for Morelia Flores Arenales in the role of childcare provider / babysitter / nanny. Morelia was my neighbour for about 10 years before I sought her services as a part-time childcare provider when my daughter was nine months old. She took care of my daughter two afternoons a week, from October 2023 until she started daycare in mid-January 2024. Morelia has been a warm, reliable, and talented caregiver to my daughter through the ups and downs of babyhood. She responds sensitively to her physical and emotional needs, and she’s always professional and courteous. Morelia is the only caretaker in our lives who can calm my daughter’s separation anxiety and teething wails, engage her in play for hours, and get her to take a nap without me, all of which I didn’t even realize were possible. Not only does Morelia reliably fulfill her assignment as a caretaker, she goes above and beyond by introducing my daughter to artistic activities, inventing games, and coming prepared with materials and ideas to keep our little one occupied. I have witnessed Morelia’s way with my friend’s 5 year old as well and I have no doubt that Morelia would be wonderful with children of all ages.
