Hi my name is Sonia. I am a married mother of 1 19 year old son. My professional background is 28 years in the dental field as a Registered Dental Assistant. Currently I hold my First Aid Level C Heath care certificate. I have recently left my previous position in the dental field due to circumstances out of my control ( corporate cut backs business decision due to COVID). I was employed in this position for 23 plus years. I am missing caring for people and feel I would like to make a career change. I have experience caring for physically challenged people all of my life. My maternal grandma was wheelchair bound due to MS, my paternal grandma was wheelchair bound due to arthritis and Alzheimer’s diseases and I also quit work to care for my terminally ill mom in the last year of her life as she journeyed through stage 4 cancer. I know there is a great need for home care and companionship out there as families are not always in the position to care for their own families. I would love to find a good match and be able to help out a family in need.

Not interested in caring for children. My preference is caring for elderly or physically challenged adults.
