My name is Aimee and I am a 21 and moved here to Vancouver from Ireland back in September. I came to Vancouver with 4 of my friends to travel and see new things.. Vancouver has so many different cultures here which is part of the reason we chose to move here and lready since living here I have met so many people with different backgrounds that I find so interesting. I love to learn and experience new things and I have done a lot of that since moving here. There is so much to do in a big city like this and also so many beautiful places to see. I am seeking to become a nanny as I simply love working with kids. I enjoy going for hikes with my friends and going to the movies, I’m from a very small town in Ireland and am very close with all my family. I have many cousins that I grew up helping to take care of as well as my 4 younger siblings. I also have a younger cousin with autism who I helped to take care of very often and also did 2 courses to learn and understand more for his needs and how to help him. I have a lot of babysitting experience with a couple of families, Since I was 17 I looked after 2 young boys who were 6 months and 2 years old at the time and I had been minding them for 5 years until I moved here. I studied forensic science in college and graduated with a science degree after my 3rd year and then left the program as I realized it was not what I wanted to do but I do plan on going back to college in a couple of years to study childcare and hopefully child psychology. I have many years experience with kids from babysitting for different families. I was a nanny here in vancouver for a short time with 2 children aged 4 and 6, unfortunately the position was short term although I loved it so I would love to nanny for another family. I have also taken care of 2 boys who I minded for 5 years from the ages of 6 months til he was 5 and his 2 year old brother until he was 7. I went on many trips with the family and took care of them very often. I also babysat for another family with a 3 year old boy and 5 year old girl I babysat these kids often over 3 years. There was a lot of responsibility when minding them as the boy would have random seizures and I had to be trained to know what to do in that situation. I also took care of my 3 cousins very often since I was 16, one of whom had severe autism. I was trained in 2 different courses to have a better understanding of autism and how to take care of him and know what he needs.

Studied 3 years of forensic science and graduated with science degree.
