My name is Gilian. You can call me Gil. I am 24 years old living with my parents in Scarborough. My parents are very loving, caring, and supportive people. I am a Filipino female who loves kids. I have been taking care of little ones from new borns to 9 years old. I am the babysitter in my family. They call me the baby whisperer. haha. I have been babysitting my little cousins along since I was 13 years old and still do take care of little ones today. Along with that, I take care of the dogs in the family. A lot on my hands but I'm a hard worker and is able to manage my time very well. Anyways, I would love to get to know your little one and grow a relationship with them through thick or thin. I love going on walks, AND most importantly I love to bake. I started to love baking just because during the beginning of the pandemic, when we were quarantining I have gained a passion to bake. I love being on my feet and NOT a couch potato. So, whatever you need. Let me know, we can talk it out and you got it.

It really depends on the child. Newborns I would usually read them a book, play with them (peek a boo), feed them, bath them and diaper changes. Usually from the age of 2-5 I like to teach the little ones how to read, how to count, how to sing basic songs that I grew up with, such as twinkle twinkle little star, mary had a little lamb, etc. and of course play with them or watch television. At the age of 6-10 I usually help with their homework. I am very patient with kids and how they learn because I find it very important for them to understand throughly with their homework. I of course would give the kids snacks, doesn't matter what age, of course not new borns but I give every child the same energy, love and care because they should know that there's always going to be someone there for them.

I have graduated from high school. I have gone to college for Pre-Health Sciences and graduated. I have graduated from a PSW program at Centennial College and am currently in a Nursing program!
