I am 19 years old and I come from Innsbruck in Austria. I am planning to stay in Canada until May 2020. I would like to find a loving family to stay with as (ideally) a live-in nanny. In May I passed my final exams and actually wanted to go to Australia as an Au-pair. Due to Covid-19 this, unfortunately, was not possible. I still wanted to spend some time of my gap year in another country, that's why I came to Canada. I am hoping t to get an impression of the Canadian lifestyle and to explore the city and landscape (as far as it is possible due to Covid-19). In Austria I did some babysitting jobs as well. I was babysitting a little boy called Paul. He is now 7 years old and I have been by his side since his birth. Throughout the years Paul changed a lot and so did my duties. I used to bottle feed him, change his nappies and get him ready for bed time. As he got older we started to play games and do excursions. Since two years Paul attends the primary school. Therefore I also supervise his homework and talk with him about his achievements in school. At home we share our house with three dogs and a cat. I always have had pets, therefore I am very animal-loving and it would be totally okay for me, if you also have one or more four-legged friends in your household. For me working as a nanny seems to be the perfect opportunity to combine work, travel, and making new experiences. I am hoping to find an open-minded and loving family.
