Hello. My name is Kenzi Tamiko, I am a student at quest studying sustainable agriculture and eco gastronomy (basically how to be a farmer and chef with the emphasis on how we care and connect with each ecosystem). I love anything that involves me being in the outdoors, dirt biking, mountain biking, climbing surfing, and simply exploring. I love puzzles, cribbage, and recently won my first game of chess. I play guitar and learning the banjo, so I am big on jam sessions. I grew up in Bali, Singapore, and California. But, I am proud to call Squamish my home. I think children are amazing and I love working with them. They are unapologetically themselves which is something I wish to relearn from being around them. I believe they see things that "old people" can't anymore. I believe that they are so wise, they are just learning how to communicate what they see and feel. I spent a lot of time learning how to speak to children when I spent summers at a camp for young kids. Its approach was to think really carefully about how to communicate with children, it's something that I continue to practice even with adults. I would love to meet with you and see if I am a good fit for your family. Someone you can trust with your children, which is a responsibility I do not take lightly. My mom once said that having children is like having a piece of your heart running around, playing, outside your chest so I will protect them thinking of my mom.
- I have babysitted many times during highschool
- I worked at a summer camp for kids for two years.
I am currently a student at Quest University Canada.
