Nanny/Babysitter in Toronto - Liliana P.
Part-Time • Live-Out

Liliana P.

25
Yrs old

Hello. My name is Liliana and I am a 21-year-old student looking for a part-time or full-time, live-out caregiver job from the end of April until the end of July 2021. I greatly enjoy working with kids and I have grown up with 4 younger siblings so I have much experience with children. I took First Aid training in my last year of high school (2018). I love pets (especially cats. ) and would be more than willing to do light housework during my shifts. I keep my phone on me, but I will not use my phone on the job. I am looking for a job throughout the week with evenings (after 5 or 6 p. m. ) and weekends off. My ideal wage would be $18-20/hr but I am more than willing to adjust this based on what the family can afford. I greatly enjoy new experiences and will approach any challenges with perseverance and eager determination. Though I am personally not comfortable with taking the vaccine at this time, I am more than willing to apply all necessary COVID prevention measures to ensure safety for everyone involved. If I could be a good fit for you and your family, please reach out by phone or text. Text is preferred. I look forward to hearing from you :)

Though this would be my first part-time/full-time caregiving position, I have had much experience with children and youth. I am a pastor's daughter and have worked as a Sunday school assistant and teacher in the past for ages ranging from three to thirteen. I have been a Kids/Jr. High camp counselor at Ottawa Valley Pentecostal Camp in Cobden, Ontario for five years (Summer 2015-Summer 2019), during which I took the required Plan to Protect training (five times) and worked with children ages 7-10 and 11-13. I love working with children, and coming alongside them as they grow and mature. I want them to feel free to express themselves and have fun, while maintaining the discipline and order necessary to mature into well-rounded adults. I believe that children need to feel loved, safe and secure; I believe that caregivers of all kinds play a large part in that. I also believe in the importance of a hired caregiver developing relationship with the parent(s) or primary caregiver(s) of the child. Together, they make the largest and lasting impact on the child's life.

I am currently in my third year at Tyndale University, dual-majoring in Biblical Studies and English. I hope to eventually go on to medical school; I would like to be a geriatric doctor.
