Hello.
My name is Cheyenne and I am excited to become a nanny/babysitter.
A little about myself, I love to read and explore new places. I graduated from high school in a small northern community that I was raised in. After graduation, I took a gap year. I started working in the tourism industry (which I tend to return to each summer) and then travelled the Dominican Republic, Mexico and India. Now, I am in my second year of post-secondary schooling at Thompson Rivers University, I plan to stay in Kamloops for the next couple of years to complete my bachelors. I also have experience working with children, I ran a learn-to-read program at my hometown library and have minor teaching experience from a school in India. My goal with schooling and nannying is to become a teacher and teach all around the world.
In my senior year of high school I was employed at my hometown public library where I ran my own program called iRead, where I was in charge of monitoring, teaching, and creating lesson plans and activities. I also travelled to Faridabad, India in my gap year and volunteered as a teacher at an elementary school where I also created lesson plans and activities for the children.
I have many years of babysitting and housesitting, as well as stellar references.
I am currently pursuing post-secondary education to be an elementary or secondary teacher.
