Having grown up in rural Okanagan I have a great love for the outdoors and greatly enjoy teaching children about it. My strengths include incorporating developmentally appropriate activities such as art, music and movement as well as helping teach children to deal with their emotions in a safe and healthy way. I am able to keep calm in stressful situations and encourage active communication between parent and caregiver.

I currently have my ECEA and enrolled online to complete my full ECE license (this is part time and doesn't interfere with work) I enjoy working with children and have 4 years of experience in it. Two years nannying and two years in daycare settings, including a Montessori school. I have worked with the age groups of 6 mon-5 years. I have experience with special needs, potty training, nap time, ect.

I have my ECE assistant certificate and am currently enrolled to complete my full ECE. I have also take courses such as circle of security, appetite to play, ect.
