Hello, my name is Ricki, and I am currently a nursing student at the University of Regina. It has always been a dream of mine to care for others, from a baby to an elder, I believe every age is so beautiful and very rewarding to work with. I first started caring for young children when I was 16 years old, babysitting for friends and family. In 2019 I moved to the states and was a nanny for a family with two girls. It was truly an amazing experience and now I consider them family. As my schooling started to advance I found a job at the local hospital back in my home town and over the last two years I have been caring for residents in a long-term care facility. It was a very special job and I have grown greatly as a person and future nurse because of it. I am fully vaccinated due to my past position as a Care Aide and I understand how important it is to keep safe right now. With my recent move to Regina I am looking for a fresh start, to find another amazing family, and to meet many new faces and smiles.

Over the last 3 years I have been caring for all ages and completing and or assisting with everyday tasks such as bathing, dressing, mouth care, feeding, toileting/changing, light housekeeping, and much more.

I am currently a second year nursing student enrolled for the RN program at the University of Regina. My two years of schooling is also equivalent to completing the CCA or C. N. A. Certificate.
