Hello my name is Kyanna and I have recently received my bachelors degree in Music Therapy at Sir Wilfrid Laurier University. I currently work for the Peel District School Board as an EA. I work with kindergarten children who have ASD. Throughout the years I have had many teaching jobs working with children. Jobs such as teaching piano, being a teacher’s assistant, a lunchroom supervisor and a camp councillor to name a few. Over the years I’ve also had many opportunities to learn from children, the elderly as well as my fellow colleagues. I’ve learned how important it is to be patient and have a constant open mind. I have gained so many experiences working with children as well as the eldery. Given this opportunity, I will be able to continue to be patient, a great listener and very understanding. This position will allow me to further my passion for helping and taking care of children.

I have had countless jobs as a beginner piano teacher, teaching children of all ages from 4-16. I have also been employed as a teachers assistant, lunch room supervisor and a camp councillor throughout the years.

I have recently completed my bachelors degree in Music Therapy at Sir Wilfrid Laurier University. I currently teach piano lessons privately.
