I am currently working at a private school teaching a grade 2 class. I am a graduate from Concurrent Education at Laurier and Nipissing Universities. I love children and have a lot of experience working with them in private childcare, schools, camps and more. I have first aid and CPR training as well as the babysitters course certificate. I also love animals and playing slo-pitch and volleyball. I love to get outside and enjoy the weather when it is nice, whether it’s building a snowman in the winter or swimming in the summer. At this time I am open to different opportunities working with children. Part-time evenings and occasional weekends, depending on your location I could start around 4pm. Also looking for a Part-time or full-time summer (July and August) childcare position and may be open to work Christmas break and March break if needed. Through my university placements, homeschool classes and teaching experiences I have had the opportunity to teach children in every grade from Kindergarten up to Grade 8. I also did a placement at Kids Ability in Waterloo in their communication classroom for children with receptive language delays and Autism.

I graduated from Southwood Secondary School and went to Conestoga College for Human Services Foundations, a one year certificate program. In that program I had the opportunity to do two placements, one in a Communications classroom at Kids Ability school in Waterloo where I worked with children that have autism. I also had a placement in a kindergarten class at Ayr Public school. I am a graduate of the Concurrent Education program and a certified Primary Junior school teacher. I have taken the babysitters course and many family and children related classes in high school, college and university. I also have first aid and CPR training level C (includes infants).
