I enjoy planning and teaching fun developmentally appropriate activities, and ensuring that children grow and learn to the best of their abilities, and assisting them be to strong and positive individuals. I live a very healthy and active lifestyle. It is very important to me. I enjoy the outdoors and nature, hiking, running, camping, kayaking, cycling, yoga, and more. I also enjoy being creative with painting, drawing, and writing. I love animals, music, reading, and gardening. I am a very open-minded, very happy, positive, patient, caring, honest individual, and believe children should be put first, to have a healthy and positive future. Along with child care, additional jobs and skills I have included; Working at a lavender farm: Gardening, harvesting, making natural lavender products, working in the farm boutique. Organic farm: Planting, harvesting vegetables, tea processing, market, making natural body products. :)

*** I am looking for a live-in nanny position. I am also a single mother with a baby girl who is 3.5 months old. I would like a family that is okay with having us both. I would love my girl to have a wonderful connection with another child and I have plenty of experience working with multiple children while caring for a home.*** I have 12 years+ professional child care experience working in different child care centres and private homes. Mostly as a Toddler and Preschool Teacher but also with infants and school aged children. I was also a nanny for a family with 3 children; newborn, 2, and 3 for three years.. I took Early Childhood Education in College. My childcare journey started with babysitting when I was 12, for a family with 4 children, as I knew then I loved working with children. I have had placements in child care centres and schools when I was in high school and college, and from there I was hired on in childcare centers. I have done enhanced support work with Autistic children and special needs. I have gained lots of experience working with children of different ages, abilities, planned developmentally appropriate activities, provided nutritional meals and planning, helping children with reading and writing, cleaning, self help and life skills, and helping children become strong and positive individuals. During my journey I have also taken additional workshops and training course on various child related subjects. First Aid/CPR Certified. I also have lots of cleaning experience, meal prep, gardening, pet care, and other tasks, skills.

In high school I took two OYAP placement programs, which were in a daycare, parenting course, and psychology, sociology, and anthropology. I graduated College with a diploma in ECE and have taken additional workshops and training courses.
