I have been working with children as long as I can remember. I grew up babysitting for friends and family. I eventually had to start turning down jobs and received perminate jobs that lasted until I graduated from highschool.
I continue to work with children as I have 13 years experience working as a Library Technician in the school system. I have worked in a day care as well as a teacher assistant.
My husband and I adopted and little boy at 3 years of age. We completed the foster to adopt program and Mathew is now 11. I also have kept up to date with my personal development in working with children.
I have a valid First Aid/CPR certificate and have a recent police clearance. I have completed a child welfare check but haven't received it yet. (I think because the postal worker were on strike. )
I am a child at heart and can't imagine not working with children everyday. I am seeking a career outside the school because I need a job where I have security and my hours are not cut every year.
I started babysitting at the age of 12. I started just babysitting for family but soon as word got out I has a job every day. I have worked in the school system for over 13 years, worked at a day care and fostered.
