Hello, I am a mother of four grown children and a grandmother too. My career background is in the medical field as well as in family services (not for profit organization). I also homeschooled my two youngest children for 7 years; something which came about due to a child’s health issues. I have experience with charitable organizations in Calgary involving children and have held a position doing community respite as well. I am a compassionate person experienced with caring for both the young and the elderly. I am knowledgeable and capable in the running of a household and am experienced in handling day to day needs, and competent and calm in unforeseen circumstances and emergencies. I enjoy many things including the outdoors, swimming, walking, cycling, reading and family. I am non- smoking and inclined toward healthy choices.

I also have experience working with a community respite program assiting parents of newborn children (and siblings) during times of stress due to post partum illness or multiple births (twins, triplets). Additional Experiences/Qualifications: In regard to my preferences for a number of questions such as # of hours, # of children, salary expectations, I wish to emphasize my flexibility and desire to consider each situation individually. I have experience teaching a child with a learning disability. I also have experience caring for a child with a medical condition. As well, I have experience assisting my elderly parents and other family during their times of illness.
