Hi there. My name is Rachel. I am a friendly, outgoing, and compassionate person who loves working with children of all ages. I am responsible, respectful, and trustworthy as a person and as a caregiver. I have been a Registered Early Childhood Educator for the past 9 years. Before my current employment, I worked at a daycare in Mount Hope. I worked in the after school program, as well as the day program with preschoolers. As the preschool teacher there, I supervised, fed, toiletted, cared and program planned for children ages 2. 5-6. As the after school, I assisted with homework in a variety of subjects, planned fun, engaging special activities and games, cared for and supervised children ages 4-12. At my current employment, I am a lead preschool teacher. I supervise, feed, toilet, care and program plan for children ages 2. 5-5. I work with each child to help reach their full developmental potential. I have also been a private nanny for a family of three children (ages 0-5) for the past 4 years. I would supervise children throughout day, engage in various activities, and go through nightly bedtime routines, including bathing. From babysitting younger family members while a teenager, to working as a teacher in a classroom setting, and understanding the requirements and expectations as a private nanny, I have plenty of well-rounded experience. While a private nanny, I cared for an infant as young as 7 weeks old, and learned and gained a lot as the child grew. I excel at helping kids reach their full potential by learning through play, as well as educational approaches and kindergarten prep.

I completed highschool with an honors in 2008, and graduated from Early Childhood Education at Mohawk college in 2012. I am a registered ECE in good standing with the college.
