Hi
My name is Katie. I love working with children and come from a very big family.
I am an easygoing, adaptable, consistent, firm but fair, playful and active type of person. I love to be outdoors and love animals, reading, music and planning fun activities for the children I care for. I love to learn and as a result I have taken many courses on child development and health related courses. I’ve attended strategy building classes for children with learning difficulties and developmental delays. I’m all about setting parents up to be able to spend time with their children once they are home from work. I’m a firm believer in quality time, because of this I try my best to make sure things are put away, the house is tidy. The children are ready for you, so you can be ready for them. Ways I offer to make this happen is by setting clothes out for bedtime or for the next day for school or having things ready for dinner or bath time, assisting in children’s laundry washing putting away or other ways that you feel are helpful. I’ve been able to really learn the art of task management. So, things get done but the children are still being cared for and having fun.
I am willing to do the following in addition to usually nanny responsibilities: Not Limited to This Can be Negotiable
Children’s laundry, Written Meal Plan and Activity Sheet each month, Meal prep for children and I don’t mind doing the prep work for meals to be cooked for the family.
