I have a passion for working with children. I love working with (and teaching) children, reading, singing songs, taking walks, nutrition, playing games/puzzles. I am looking for a job that allows me to use my skills in the field I am pursuing. I graduated in June 2013 with my FCC (Family Child Care Certificate), ECE (Early Childhood Education) at UFV in June 2015, and an Infant Toddler Diploma and Special Needs Diploma both completed in June 2016 from UFV. I have had babysitting experience since I was 11 (taking care of my younger brother and a neighbors' child), I have also cared for my friends children at various times. I have volunteered at a daycare while I was in high school. I volunteered in my son's grade 1 class in 2012, and a kindergarten class as well from October 2011 - June 2012. I have a background in music - taking piano lessons, and also other instruments during my high school years. was also a candy striper as I love working with seniors as well and caring for them. Academics Prekindergarten as an Infant/Toddler Educator (2016 - 2020) Leap For Joy Preschool (2015-2016) Practicums (Daycare and Preschool) in University while taking Early Childhood Education. Volunteering in a grade 1 class (October - December 2012) & Kindergarten Class (October 2011 - June 2013). Volunteered at Kidz Club Daycare as part of a work experience course during high school (2003-2004). Community Services Class - high school 2003-2004 (helped with special needs students with homework, daily activities, prepare snacks/lunch) Babysat numerous times throughout my life. I have been taking care of children for as long as I can remember, my younger brother being one of them. Ages range from newborns - 10 years old. I am also a mother of one son.
