Hello! Are you a student at college or university who is looking for a job that you can do after your classes? Do you like hanging out with funny, cool kids? Well then, keep reading... We are looking for an easy-going yet engaging part-time after-school nanny to care for our two children (a daughter who is 16 and a son who is 12.5) starting in September. The primary responsibility is caring for our children; including picking them up from school, supervising homework and transportation to after-school activities. But if we are being completely honest, we aren't really looking for a nanny or babysitter; we are actually looking for a big sister or brother. A special person who cares about us, is a terrific role model and becomes a part of our family. We live in a beautiful part of Calgary with amazing access to parks, bike trails and other activities. In addition to your experience in caring for children, you will: - be available from 2:30 - 5:30 pm Monday to Friday (there is flexibility here) - have access to your own vehicle and a valid drivers license - not be afraid to prepare dinner and do light clean up of the house (kitchen primarily) - walk our dog (a golden retriever) at least once per day Hourly rate will be negotiated based on experience.
