David is widowed and would like to hire a responsible person to provide after-school child care and homework help for his three children, ages 9, 13 and 15. Hours of Work Monday to Thursday, 4 pm to 7 pm Start date: Monday, October 15, 2018 End date: Thursday, June 20, 2019 Position Description • Assist the children with emptying and washing their lunch bags • Prepare a healthy snack • Have the youngest child read to you and assist him with his reading • Assist 9 and 13-year-old children with their homework, as required • Set for dinner • Prepare dinner so that it is ready between 6 pm and 6:30 pm • Clear and load dishes and glasses into dishwasher • Engage children in activities if time permits, such as card games, board games, soccer or tennis Qualifications, Rate of Pay and Terms • Experience caring for children between 9 and 15 • Knowledge of French as the 9 and 13-year-old children are in French immersion at their schools • $16-$20 per hour depending on experience • Payment made by direct deposit every Friday • Caregiver not needed between December 24 and January 4 or during the March break
