We have moved to Toronto from the UK and are settling in very nicely to our new home. We need a nanny to look after our two boys. We would really like someone with a childcare background - either qualifications or direct working experience (e.g. in a daycare facility). Arlen: Arlen is 2.5 years old and is a very easy going little boy. He loves exploring and is always looking for new things to play with. He really enjoys playing with his big brother and is beginning to string sentences together. Calum: Calum is 8 years old and is very polite, confident and curious. He has lots of energy and is enjoying his time in Canada. He finds it easy to make new friends and enjoys playing with toy cars. Calum is very good at helping out with Arlen. Bobby: Bobby works fulltime and is of Indian extraction so fluent in both English and Punjabi. She enjoys shopping and seeing friends. Duncan Duncan works in the IT industry. He is good-natured, relaxed and has an interest in cars and sport. We are looking for: Someone easy going, fun and intelligent with experience of looking after children. We want someone who is over 21 years old and a non-smoker. We have a self-contained apartment in our house that will be provided as required on a live-in basis or as needed. The hours: The hours would be weekdays from 06:30 – 09:00 and 15:00 - 19:00. There is no need to work at the weekend. These timings are approximate. The work: Light house duties related to Arlen and Calum (for example, washing and ironing their clothes). Dropping the boys off to daycare and school and collecting them. Daily preparation of a family meal. Occasional babysitting in the evening. The location: We live in East York in a small, village-like community just off of Bayview. There is lots to do in the immediate vicinity and it is easy to get downtown or out of town.
