We are looking for a superstar Nanny to help us take care of our 1 year-old son during the week in downtown Toronto. Here is a breakdown of the job: - take loving care of our 1 year old son - work *roughly* 9:00-5:00, Monday through Friday, and occasional evenings - manage the baby's meals, clothes, activities for the day - have lots of fun playing in the local park, splash pad, drop-in centres, music classes and on playdates - make sure he gets a good afternoon nap - other responsibilities include light housekeeping when needed: laundry, tidying up kitchen, vacuuming play area, running errands, light grocery shopping, and keeping a grocery list. Here's what we are looking for in a Nanny: - someone who is warm, fun-loving, energetic, smart, interested in child development - someone who is very reliable and organized - someone who takes initiative to make new baby friends and play dates - someone who has experience nannying downtown - someone who is interested in education, learning and development. Language skills are important. - someone who lives downtown - most importantly: someone we connect to! We are looking to start full-time work by early September but would likely begin part-time over the summer. We are flexible with specific start date.
