Employer address: Richards St and Cedar St in Mission, BC Location of work: same as above Type of Employment: Full time – Permanent Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible Job Description: • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, • Change diapers for children and continue potty training, • Prepare children for rest periods, • Tend to emotional well-being of children, • Supervise and care for children, • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, • Organize, activities such as games and outings for children, • Take the children to all the appointments needed • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, • Bathe, dress and feed children • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, • Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents, • Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties, • Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens, • Shop for food and household supplies • Read and follow parenting books, articles and exercises provided by parents Requirements: Education: Completion of secondary school Driver's license is an asset Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is not a condition of employment. Children's Ages: 2 years old twins Work setting: Private home – Employer’s home Salary: $11.00 - $12.00 per Hour, 37.5-50 hours per week.
