We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable person to work with a friendly, easy going 23 year old male with autism, who enjoys music, hiking, swimming, and interacting with others. Position involves assisting with functional life skills, language and social communication, community inclusion, and various exercise activities both in and outside the home.Training will be provided. We have flexiblity to fill part-time (3-5 hours) and full time (6-8 hours) continuing for at least one year. Weekends, weekdays and respite opportunities are available. Applicant must: - Be responsible, energetic + enthusiastic - Be at least 19 years old. - Be willing to commit for at least 1 year, with potential to remain permanently. - Be willing to consent/provide to a criminal record check for vulnerable adults. - Must have a reliable vehicle and a valid class 5 driver's license. - Be fluent in English - Be available for a 2 hr monthly meeting Work with a great family!
