My husband and I are both working professionals who are looking for a full-time nanny willing to make a long-term commitment to our family by caring for our two wonderful boys, ages 2 and 8. Our eldest son is very sociable, energetic, happy boy with a strong passion for sports! By way of contrast, our younger one is a bit more reserved and shy, yet a fun, silly, thoughtful little man. We are seeking someone who is nurturing, warm, yet firm who would make a good addition to our family and come to love our boys as much as we do. We'd value someone who is comfortable and had experience working with children around the same ages as our sons. Our eldest will be in school for most of the day and given his love for sports he will be in an after school tennis program three to four days a week. I walk him off at school in the mornings, and on days when he has tennis his father picks him up so you may not see much of him. Our nanny's primary responsibility will be caring for our youngest son stimulating his development, playing with him, and taking him to and from weekly child programs. We live inner-city NW (Rosedale) close to parks, library, and transportation by bus/LRT. Sadly (and happily for her!), our other nanny left to have a child of her own. We will require someone to start by April 3, 2018. We will require childcare: Mon-Fri 8:15 a.m. to 4:30-5:30 p.m. Caring for our boys will be our nanny's primary responsibility, yet we also want to find someone willing to do light housekeeping, meal preparation, grocery shopping (if able to drive), and laundry. Pay is negotiable depending on experience and education. We would love someone with Early Childhood Education Certificate and a driver's license, yet it is not necessary.
