Hands-On Home-Learning for a Sustainable World (located in Victoria, B.C.) is looking to find a Supportive Educational Assistant to work 1:1 in the home and possibly in the community for one of our students in the Sidney B.C. area. You would be providing 1:1 support on a part-time basis to a child with their educational and social needs. The skills and qualities that HOHL are looking for in the S.E.A. include someone who is attentive, patient, experienced, and that can make learning fun! HOHL is looking to work with someone who is responsive, timely, and has strong communication skills. You will be asked to provide Work Samples and to answer educationally relevant questions on a weekly basis (HOHL will provide the questions, and will support you in submitting work samples that are of good quality), along with your weekly invoice of hours. The hours are still to be determined, but ideally a minimum of 4 hours a week.
