Seeking a part-time live-out nanny to provide care and local transportation for our 15-year-old girl and 12-year-old boy, and assistance with weekly errands and some light housekeeping. The wage is $15-17/hour depending on experience and the family is located in Nepean (close to Greenbank, in between Baseline and Hunt Club). We're seeking an individual who is interested in becoming a valued and respected employee and esteemed member of our family. We will provide a work environment that is fair, respectful, and enjoyable. We require a candidate with access to a vehicle that can be used for the children’s transportation (we would provide compensation for the use of the car). START DATE: February 3, 2020 HOURS: School months (September to June), approximately 8-10 hours per week. Flexible weekly schedule that ideally covers weekday mornings from 7:00am - 9:00am. Summer hours up to 5 hours per day also possible. ABOUT THE CHILDREN and OUR APPROACH TO PARENTING: The children are calm, happy, well mannered and responsible. Both children are in school full time (French immersion program) and very studious. Outside of school hours, we strive to ensure their days include daily outdoor play and exercise. Our family is maintains a media-free environment (no television, video games, smart phones, etc.) at all times with the exception of devices needed for homework assignments. The children are encouraged to identify how they feel and communicate their feelings with love and kindness. There is no shouting (by parents or children) in the house.
