Looking for a live in or live out nanny to start December 1st. I work 6 on 6 off. My wife works Mon-Fri. No weekends other than possible extra hours, if required. We have a two year old twin boy and girl. Duties and responsibilities include: - Creating a nurturing and safe environment - Meeting the children's social, emotional and physical needs - Providing age-appropriate activities - Doing the children's laundry - Bathing the children - Dressing the children - Assisting with self-care and hygiene, including diapering - Potty training - Reading to the children - Disciplining the children, when necessary and in accordance with our parenting principles - Keeping the children's bedroom and play room organized and tidy - Preparing nutritious meals and snacks - Returning the house in the condition it was in upon arrival - Instilling good manners and a sense of responsibility - Taking the children to age-appropriate activities and outings such as a visit to the park nearby or public library - Transporting the children to and from activities or appointments - Travelling with the family Qualifications & Pre-requisites include: - At least two years of previous nanny experience - Experience caring for newborns and toddlers (multiples) - Current First Aid and CPR certificate - Good, verifiable references - Valid driver's license preferred but not required - Criminal background check required - Fluent in writing and speaking English - Honest, dependable and trustworthy - Can work independently - Authorized to work legally in Canada
