Primary responsibilities are to providing care, companion, medications reminder, and house keeping for an elderly of ~75 years old woman who has Alzheimer, Diabetes and hypothyroid. Willing to travel with the elderly. Secondary responsibilities is house keeping the house the elderly lives in. Candidate needs to understand and speak Cantonese. Police check required. Seeking live in care giver for a senior. Willing to learn Cantonese to communicate with the elderly is a must. Morning 7:30am to 9:30am duties: Cook/prepare breakfast for the elderly, wake up elderly to take thyroid medications, remind elderly to take showers and brush teeth, prepare diabetes friendly breakfast for the elderly, remind her to take medications after she finished her breakfast. Pack lunch/snacks and Prepare her for going to senior center where someone will take her to senior center. Help her find stuff when she requested. Clean up after breakfast. Occasionally, will need to help elderly to put medications if there are wounds. Afternoon Duties 3:30pm to 7:30pm: When elderly returns from senior center, be the elderly companion and help her put TV channel on when she has trouble. Housekeeping duties (laundry, fold clothes, changing bedding, ironing, vacuum floor, washing kitchen and washrooms when needed) and cook/prepare diabetes friendly dinner for the elderly or family, Clean up after dinner. Remind elderly to take medications after dinner. Help her prepare next day's clothing. Help her find stuff when she requested. Occasionally, will need to help elderly to put medications if there are wounds.
