We are searching for an after school nanny for between 1-3 children Mon.-Fri. Hours are 2:30-5:30. However, if further hours are desired by the applicant, we could add additional hours if you are prepared to do house-cleaning or basic meal preparation for extra hours in addition to the 2:30-5:30. Child care is required for one child on Mon, Wed, Fri. and for 3 children on Tues. and Thurs. Responsibilities: - Making a healthy snack after school - Helping children with homework and ensuring that it is done (reviewing spelling words, helping with reading) - Organizing stimulating play activities (at the park, outdoor play, board games, puzzles etc.) - Participating in educational play with the children We emphasize outdoor time and educational play with our children. Most days should not have any screen time (TV or electronics). The ideal candidate would have or be enrolled in ECE (early childhood education) program, have standard first aid, and some knowledge of the French language as the children attend a french school. However these are not mandatory, only a bonus! A genuine interest in child development is a must. Pay is based on experience but could range from $12-24 per hour. Thanks for your interest!
