We are a young couple looking for a full-time, live-out nanny to care for our very bright 4 year old girl and energetic 18 month old boy. We are expecting another child this coming April and would keep our nanny on to help during maternity leave. The hours would be Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm, however, we are business owners and can be flexible with these hours if needed. Our ideal nanny would be energetic, fun, cheerful, enjoy being outdoors, be highly involved in playing with our children, enjoy reading and teaching and be able to organize playdates and activities to keep them busy. Excellent communication and organizational skills, honesty, the ability to multitask and confidence when dealing with our children are musts. Duties would be mainly child-care related, and would include preparing meals/snacks and feeding, dressing, changing diapers, putting down for naps and lots of play time. Some light housework and meal preparation will be required. Our daughter loves dancing, singing, dressing up, make believe and seeing her friends in the community. Our son loves playing outside, running and any activities where he can build or problem solve. We live in the community of Mahogany and are walking distance to the Mahogany lake and beach site, numerous parks and the commercial area. Our daughter attends preschool in the mornings 2 days a week, and we will require our nanny to pick her up from preschool (either walking or driving). We will require our nanny to have current CPR and First Aid training, to be proficient in English and to be a non-smoker. Previous experience in childcare is preferred.
